Our hypertrophy programmes are based around the three key components of training, nutrition and rest which is vital for maximising results in a safe and progressive manner.

Getting Stronger for Life
Staying strong or building strength is key to pretty much all aspects of human performance regardless of age, sex, gender or life roles.
If you are physically stronger then you'll be able to continue to stay active and perform physical tasks better and for longer while reducing the risk of injury as you get older.
Strength training can also sit at the heart of achieving other primary goals such as fat loss, muscle building, improving endurance and sport specific training as it provides an excellent base to build other training techniques around.
For example strength training exercises have been shown to help create the tears in muscle fibres that are needed to generate muscle repair and in turn promote muscle growth (hypertrophy).
Strength training has also been shown to help with fat loss as it can lead to an increase in muscle mass which can lead to an increase in the resting metabolic rate which will lead to more calories and body fat being burned, even at rest!

Women’s Health & Fitness
We offer specialised and adapted training and coaching to work with women and their specific exercise needs pre, during and post pregnancy and menopause as well as offering courses around developing core and pelvic floor strength which has been a neglected part of womens's health for many years.
