Ric Mash PT was established in 2012 to encourage health and fitness in the local community by offering affordable fitness and personal training.
Since then we have grown our services to include small group training, circuit classes and set up a successful social fitness group which has provided access to exercise for many different types of people.
We have a private training facility which is designed to create a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment for you to work in, you will have exclusive access during your 1 to 1 sessions.
In the last year we have introduced online classes via Zoom and adapted our 1 to 1 Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching Programmes so they can be delivered fully online, which means we can now help more people than ever before.
In this time I have also developed as a person and pride myself on expanding my knowledge whenever I get the chance, which means you get the benefits in your training and coaching experience.
I am currently studying a qualification with Girls Gone Strong which focuses on women’s health and fitness. The knowledge that I’ve gained so far has been invaluable when I’m working with my female clients.
I have come to realise that there is a lot more to fitness than just going in the gym and lifting weights or hitting the cardio machines for hours on end!
This is why I adopt a holistic approach to my training and coaching, the foundations of my programmes centered around coaching the person; in exercise, nutrition and lifestyle development. This promotes all round well being and enables clients to get the best results maintaining them for longer.
Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients from ages 13-70 plus, helping them make positive changes to their lives.
I have helped clients improve their general fitness for performance in everyday life, making them fitter and stronger so they can move better and carry out tasks more efficiently. This work has improved their confidence levels and belief in their own abilities and what their bodies are capable of, both physically and mentally.
I've also worked with people to prepare and train for challenges such as ‘The Three Peaks’/long distance walking, work related fitness tests for the military and emergency services as well working with clients to improve their fitness to improve their sporting performance (Cricket).
